About The Architect :

Wow!!! This luxury wine-themed vacation residence was custom designed by Carlsbad architect Travis Deal. Incorporating our desired design features, including an expansive octagonal natural stone view deck, a full sized gourmet granite and stainless kitchen, and unique whirlpool stone bath, this knock-out craftsman design “Cottage” is one of the premier lodging/vacation rentals in the scenic West Ramona Valley and San Diego County. Some have described Eagles Nest as a mini Roman "villa rustica" or country villa.

Travis Deal specializes in multi-million dollar coastal home designs but has designed several smaller projects for us in years past. He took on this creative but small-by-his-standards project as a personal favor. Others have since voiced interest in replicating the design features of Eagle Nest.
